At our 15th Century Inn and Restaurant you will find that we take a great pride in the service that has given this popular free house an enviable reputation among both drinkers and diners alike.   It is still a place that people of all ages flock to if they want to enjoy a relaxing day out, and whatever time you call in, our staff will always endeavour to make your visit memorable.

Steve and Cherrie Chadwick, as owners of the Crown at Pantygelli, are determined to continue to improve the facilities available to our customers.

The Crown at Pantygelli is at the centre of the community and holds a serious of special events for our customers over the course of a year. We have a variety of seasonal activities such as Harvest Suppers, Christmas Carols and a host of other local celebrations.

The Crown also involves itself in a number of fund-raising events, supporting such charities as 'Breast Cancer Research', the local branch of the 'Abergavenny Altzheimers Support Group, 'Prostate Cancer' and St. Joseph's Hospice'

As part of our support for local culture, we mount small art exhibitions in the pub with the next one being held shortly to highlight the work of talented and award winning local artist and author Caroline Downey.

Her husband, Peter, is a fine Blacksmith and has been responsible for most of the ironwork logos to be found in and about The Crown at Pantygelli, including the fetching wall lamps in the dining area which were made to our own design.

We are regularly visited by local dancers, including the Isca Morrismen and their other friends.
